About Zhangping Shuixian

“Zhangping Shuixian” is an oolong tea made in Zhangping, Fujian Province, China, known for its distinctive square shape.

This tea is a light, floral-scented variety with a fragrant aroma reminiscent of orchids.

By shaping the tea leaves into small squares, they unfurl slowly.

At first, there is a refreshing, grassy aroma.
As you add more water, a sweet, floral fragrance develops, followed by a gentle sweetness and lingering aftertaste.

Within a single block of tea, the flavor and aroma gradually transform.

That is the charm of Zhangping Shuixian.

Recommended Preparation

Place the whole block in your tea vessel and enjoy.

Tea leaves: 10g
Water: Approx. 150–200ml
Water temperature: 90–95°C
1st infusion: Approx. 30–45 seconds
2nd infusion and beyond: Adjust gradually as you taste

Do not stop after the first few infusions; please try adding water several times.

As the tightly packed tea leaves gradually unfurl, the aroma will also change.
